• Optional reference images that you choose to submit with a search.
• Technical and security information contained in application and hosting logs.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, process credit purchases, perform and improve parts searches, prevent abuse, troubleshoot failures, and provide support.

Service providers

Supabase provides authentication and database services. Stripe processes card payments. OpenAI processes search instructions and any optional image submitted for an AI search. Vercel hosts the application and produces operational logs. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy practices.

Card details are entered directly into Stripe Checkout. Japan Parts Hunt AI does not receive or store your complete card number.

Browser storage and cookies

Authentication cookies keep you signed in. Search results may be cached in your browser for up to 24 hours to avoid repeating a paid search. You can remove that cache by clearing this site's browser data.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, maintain transaction records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
